VSL & FARRIERS is a Family business in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region and we love working with horses but more specifically their feet.

We offer an ambulatory veterinary service diagnosing and treating a full range of equine conditions. We have x-ray and ultrasonography and the ability to do a full range of blood tests.

Our equine podiatry and farrier service offers comprehensive diagnosis, treatment and maintenance for a variety of foot and hoof conditions. We use medical therapy as well as or in conjunction with therapeutic shoeing. Dr. Knight is both a veterinarian and professional farrier which allows him to treat each foot problem on an individual basis with a scientific understanding of equine anatomy, medical physiology and the mechanics of the equine foot. Dr. Knight's podiatry techniques use the basic principles of farriery combined with advanced technology to treat foot problems.
